EP LAUNCH - 2ND APRIL - SPIDERS WEB

The Blundells first show of the year sees the boys return to their roots, We really want to give something back to the venue that has supported local live music so much over the years, a place that gave Jason a stage to perform on from the age of 5, a place that has let every type of band or artist use their space for free over the years from rehearsals to live gigs. A pub like many others out there that is struggling in recent times to get people through the doors, but has been a community for so many for so long. So we want to do a big thank you gig to the Spiders Web, and use their stage to promote an release our latest work. So join us on the 2nd April for the sweet price of just £5 for the 'In The Beginning' EP release night. Worried about it being a school night - don't - it's Good Friday the day after.

Wrong Side Of 35 is out now everywhere

36 years old. New dad. Drowning in the day-to-day. Then the music hit.

This is the sound of Mike Freeman and his mates, Chris Saxton, Jase Barwick and James Dobson, finding their way back to the only therapy that ever worked: loud, blistering Brit rock. Born in the cold, damp underbelly of Cleethorpes' old garages, this is an album built on shared history.

Its an unapologetic tribute to messy nights out and the crushing aftermath. It tackles the struggle to make sense of society's rules and the universal, gut-check realisation that, on the bottom rung where we all live, no one actually gives a fuck anyway.

Recorded live and raw at the infamous Docks Academy as part of a community drive, this record is long, loud, and full of fight. You can practically smell the booze consumed during Mikes 36th birthday session.

They went in to record one track and came out with an entire album is a defiant act proving that even while navigating everything life throws at you, you can still make noise.

This is for everyone in the same boat. You can do it.

With special thanks to Meg, Amber and Laura — for giving us our Friday nights.

To JJ Folds and Mikey Scott for the engineering and mixing
